We’ve just released time@work, expense@work and forms@work 6.4.1 for Infor SunSystems, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Coda and Netsuite to the Customer Web. This is the first general release of Version 6.4. .

A new version of the systems@work 6.4 App can be found on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Version 6.4 is the first which no longer provides desktop versions of data maintenance options and procedure execution (systems@work ‘Maintenance’ applications):

  • The ‘Maintenance’ applications (time@work Maintenance, etc.) have been discontinued.
  • Options for the maintenance of ‘Profiles’ – Inquiry Profiles, Invoice Data Profiles, etc., are provided in the desktop application – systems@work Profile Manager.
  • The systems@work DB Creator has been replaced with the systems@work Database Manager.

The components of systems@work are now the following:

  • The browser-based PSW (Professional Services Workbench)
  • The browser-based CSW (Customer Services Workbench)
  • The desktop application – Profile Manager
  • The desktop application – Database Manager
  • The desktop/server application – Task Scheduler
  • The systems@work mobile App

Version 6.4 includes the following enhancements:

  • Archiving and Generation (Timesheet Generation) are now available in the PSW
  • The Runtime Parameters page for profile execution in the PSW has been made easier to use
  • The separate concept of a User has been abandoned. Employees with the right credentials can now log in to the Profile Manager, Database Manager and Task Scheduler. The ‘User’ record has become the ‘Employee Profile’ record, and may still be associated with Employees. In due course the Employee Profile record will be enhanced so that certain properties – PSW Options, Restrictions, Form Types, etc. – can be defined at Profile level, enabling the easier assignment of general properties to Employees,
  • PingFederate has been added as an alternative authentication framework (alternative to ADFS).
  • The systems@work App has been radically revised in terms of graphics and navigation
  • Optional additional security has been provided in the App (such as the requirement for fingerprint/PIN/FaceID during App launch) with the option to disable at Employee level.
  • Form Control functionality has been extended to cover “Issued by Proxy” status
